Griffin

I'm a handsome boy, right?  Couldn't resist clicking on my picture?  Well, let me introduce myself -- my name is Griffin, and I will be three years old in August.  I weigh 28 pounds and have a beautiful undocked tail that I like to wag all the time.  My previous owners were unable to keep me after they moved to a new place, so I quickly caught the four-hour transport to OBG!

In my last home I had a fenced yard, and I spent all my days there while my owner was at work.  However, I am doing very well with my house-training.  I am shy, but super sweet.  I would love to be your shadow and constant companion.  I'll even rest my head on you if given a chance.  I am looking to be a one-and-only dog in my forever home.  Dog-savvy kids over the age of 8 should be okay - I have lived with children previously.  

A home in the suburbs with a dog-experienced person who understands that it takes me a few minutes to warm up to someone new would be ideal.  Because other dogs make me uncomfortable, I don't need to go places where there will be other canines (pet stores, parks).  I am happy being a homebody and giving all of my loving to my family.  Though, don't get me wrong - I do love my neighborhood walks.
