Rocky
Young | Male | Adopted
Hi! My name is Rocky, and I'm new around here. I've traveled a long way to get to the Northern Va area -- so far that would you believe that I traveled all the way from Korea? Yes, that is a loooooong way, and I am so thankful to be here.
I am a very attractive pup and have a very pleasing and pleasant personality to match. I get along well with other dogs, and people, too! One of the first things people want to know about me is my age. I am two years old. My fur is buff-colored, and I have a long tail.
I love to play an interact with other dogs, but I've been told that I have to stay quiet and calm for a while. You see, I am heartworm positive. This means that I will take special medication to get rid of worms around my heart. The medication can be painful, but is necessary to save my life. This is another thing I am thankful for.
My foster home says that I am housebroken. This means that I know to do my doggie business in the yard, not the house. I've been told that this is very important. I also know how to walk well on leash. I don't pull or tug and absolutely love my walks. Right now, my walks are very, very short due to my heartworm treatment. As soon as I am all better, I will be able to romp, play, and go for longer walks.
