Peaches

Who doesn't love a Georgia peach???  Our very own Peaches arrived after a long transport from a rural part of Georgia where she was found as a stray.  Peaches is a ~6 year old cocker mix.  She currently weighs ~31#, and she needs to lose another 5-6#.  Clearly, she wasn't a stray for very long!

Peaches is a lovely girl.  She is house-trained, has perfect house manners, and she is very soft and gentle.  She catches onto routines quickly, and she is very smart.  Her favorite game is fetch.  She has demonstrated that she knows the cues "sit" and "drop it" and "stay".  Peaches also likes to sunbathe on nice, warm days.  She will happily curl up onto the sofa next to you.  In particular, after dinner she turns into a couch potato and snores gently on and off until bedtime.  She loves her evening belly rubs!

Peaches is looking for a single family home with a secure fenced-in yard (no e-fences) in the suburbs/rural area.  She barks and lunges at people and dogs going by while on leash (and in the car).  Her manners are fantastic in the house, as long as she can't see people/dogs outside the window.  She LOVES walks, though they go much more smoothly when she doesn't pass by any people or dogs.
