Sweet Pea

Sweet Pea needs at least one other dog in her forever home. If you have a playful dog friend for her, read on!

Sweet Pea will be celebrating her first birthday on August 22nd and she's really hoping she gets to do it in her forever home! This uniquely colored pup is a merle cocker -- the merle gene causes patches of the chocolate brown to be diluted, giving her coat a spotty appearance. 

This young pup has a ton of potential! She is very sweet, playful, and fun. She loves to play with other dogs, wag her long tail, and roll around in the grass. At night, she's happy to snuggle up next to you and snooze until morning. She would really like the cat in her foster home to play with her but he is not interested. He will swat at her and she'll back off. 

Sweet Pea needs at least one other playful dog in her forever home. Because she lived with her littermate from birth to 9 months, she is really insecure if there is not another dog around to bolster her confidence.

Sweet Pea will only be adopted in the DC Metro area, as she is not yet able to be spayed.
