Our hearts are full with the arrival of the sweetest spaniels affectionately named "The Candy Heart Cockers"! Last week we were contacted by a Good Samaritan when a breeder needed to relinquish seven cockers. As we’ve seen over and over again, they have spent their entire lives outdoors without any medical care, grooming or human contact. In the spirit of Valentine’s Day the Candy Heart Cockers are named using sweet and simple words of love just like the candy! Introducing Cutie Pie, Teddy Bear, Sweet Pea, Boo Bear, Love Bug, Hubba Bubba and Cup Cake!
Hubba Bubba is gorgeous chocolate cocker in need of a foster home. Sadly, Bubba is heart worm positive and will need a foster during his OBG-sponosored, life saving treatlment. He is around a year old, 28 pounds and that is about all we know about him. Ideally, he needs a fenced yard in the suburbs as he learns how to be a loved family member! At the kennel, he is keeping his crate mostly clean and learning to walk on the leash.
