#GivingTuesday! Meet Lily

#GivingTuesday kicks off OBG's Holiday Fund Drive and our five-day Mini-Matching drive with the chance to raise $24,000 for OBG! One of the pups your donations will help is Lily. She is only 4-5 months old and she came to OBG from a rural Virginia shelter. Lily had been hit by a car and dragged for several yards. Poor Lily was "degloved" in the accident meaning layers of her skin came off when she was dragged along the road and her muscle area was visible. 

Lily was initially treated locally, but shortly after arrival to OBG, her temporary fosters rushed her to the ER because the sutures had not held together well and the fluid draining was infected. Lily has improved but there is a continuing issue with one of her sutures. Our vets and staff rave about her sweet personality!
