Fourth of July Safety Tips

July 4th is a great day of celebrations and family gatherings, but sadly it is the number one day that pets go missing. Many pets panic at the sound of firecrackers, escape through an open door or window, and disappear into the night. Many turn up miles from home -- frightened, disoriented, dehydrated, and sometimes injured. Others are lost forever. Please take a moment to read these safety tips from the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).
