RIP Cupcake
It is with heavy hearts we share that our precious Cupcake was helped across the Rainbow Bridge today. The emergency MRI to determine the cause of her uncontrolled seizures unfortunately showed there was nothing that could be done for her. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her foster pawrents, Cindy and Larry, and foster siblings Tater, Raisin, Eddie and Misty Moo.
Her foster mom Cindy says Cupcake was sweeter than sweet and a snugglebug who, despite her seizures, would perk up when you called her name. She had her own "pack" in the house as you can see in the collage, where she's snuggling with Eddie and Tater. Cupcake was much loved and we thank Cindy and Larry for opening their hearts and home to her.
We also want to thank Dr. Embree from Hayfield Animal Hospital and the doctors and staff of Regional Veterinary Referral Center and Bush Veterinary Neurology Service for all of their support, care and kindness during Cupcake's difficult journey.
We've always said that OBG has the BEST supporters of any rescue around and once again you proved us right with your prayers, donations and expressions of love for Cupcake last week!
Rest in Peace sweet Cupcake until we see you again some day at the Rainbow Bridge.
